From October 22 to 24, 2024, the National Conference on Detection and Repair Reinforcement Technology of Hydraulic Concrete Structures was successfully held in Urumqi, Xinjiang. This conference was organized by the Detection and Repair Reinforcement Professional Committee of Water Engineering Concrete Structures under the China Dam Engineering Society, and co-hosted by the Xinjiang Water Resources Development Investment (Group) Co., Ltd., the Key Laboratory of Water Engineering Materials (in preparation) under the Ministry of Water Resources, and Beijing Zhongshuike Haili Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. The conference attracted nearly 200 participants, including scholars, technical personnel, and representatives from material and equipment enterprises from all over the country, who gathered in Urumqi to exchange and introduce cutting-edge technologies in the detection and repair reinforcement of hydraulic structures both domestically and internationally.
During the conference, focusing on topics such as the detection, evaluation, maintenance, and reinforcement of hydraulic concrete structures, the meeting specially invited renowned scholars from the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research, the Xinjiang Water Conservancy and Hydropower Planning and Design Administration, Zhejiang University, and other industry senior experts and outstanding enterprise representatives to deliver academic reports at the conference. The content of the reports covered a wide range of areas, including material research and development, detection and evaluation, repair and protection, and operation management, showcasing new perspectives, materials, and technologies in this field in recent years, with significant theoretical value and practical significance. The conference attendees listened attentively to the academic reports and engaged in in-depth discussions and enthusiastic exchanges.
As a technology holder, our company was invited to participate in the conference. At the event, we showcased polyurethane and epoxy-based waterproofing and leakage prevention materials, anti-abrasion treatment series materials, and underwater repair series materials through various methods including video presentations, exhibition boards, and physical demonstrations. During this period, many leaders and experts from institutions such as the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research, Liaoning Institute of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Research, and China Power Construction Group visited our booth, engaging in enthusiastic exchanges and discussions with our company representatives. The representatives shared practical experiences and successful application cases of our company, which received high praise from the attending leaders and experts.
